Recycling

The recycling collection service includes:

An alternate weekly collection of recycling from a Green Wheeled Bin, which you can use to recycle paper, cardboard, cans, plastic bottles, tubs and pots, glass.

Please do not use black bin bags for your recycling as these will be mistaken for rubbish.

Putting your recycling out

You need to place your green wheeled bin out for collection before 7 am, where it  will be emptied on your green recycling week. To find out what day and week your recycling will be collected see collection days. 

Instead of putting your bin out on the kerbside, we'll collect it from just within the boundary of your property (a 'curtilage' collection). This is where your front path or drive meets the road or pavement. Bins must be clearly visible for the collection crews and they should be able to reach your bins by putting just one foot inside the boundary of your property.
