Disabled access

Wallingford Castle Meadows offers a range of walks that can be enjoyed by people with reduced mobility, users of mobility vehicles and people with pushchairs and young families.  The gradients are generally slight although some slopes may cause difficulties for some users.  The standing remains of the castle and associated bank and ditch earthworks mean that parts of the site are less accessible.

A handy accessibility map and guidance leaflet can be downloaded from the menu on the right showing details about distance and type of surface so everyone can decide which walk is right for them.

This map can be used along with the information on the self-guided walk leaflet also available from the menu on the right of the page.  Once on site the total length of the guided walk is around 1.5km or 1 mile and should take on average around 30 minutes.
