The council does not directly provide health services as they are the responsibility of the National Health Service , with most services being provided by Primary Care Trusts.

Where to find more information on Social Care in South Oxfordshire
Social services are the responsibility of Oxfordshire County Council. The services they offer include help and advice for: carers, children and families, general health care, people with learning disabilities, people with physical disabilities, care services for the elderly (such as residential care).
