A validation checklist is a tick list to help you make sure you have submitted everything necessary to make a planning application.  We may need some additional information if your property is in an area of outstanding natural beauty.  Use the interactive map to find out if this applies to your property.

• Design and Access Guidance Notes
  The Statement explains the proposal in relation to its context.  A good understanding of the context is essential to raise the quality of the design, access and sustainability of a proposal. The Statement must show how the proposal has addressed the nature of its surroundings and how it will improve the environment.
