Fly tipping
We are responsible for street cleaning and we clear dumped rubbish (fly tipping) on the public highway and highway verges, where we will remove it within 3 days of being reported.
Common types of fly tipping include dumped tyres, waste from buildings and demolition work, fridges, freezers and garden waste.
People found guilty of fly tipping can face fines up to £20,000 or a prison sentence.
