Interactive Local Plan Proposals Map
From this page you can launch our new interactive proposals map. This allows you to select an area on a map of the district, or locate an area using a postcode, and see whether any local plan designations and allocations apply. From there you can click on the results to view the text of any relevant local plan policies.
You should note that the local plan also contains policies which apply throughout the district, many of which relate to specific types of development. You will also need to look at the relevant policies for the type of development you are interested in.
The local plan used for this service is the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, which was adopted in January 2006. Follow the link below to access the interactive proposals map (see also the disclaimer and user notes below this link):

User notes
1. If you want to print the Local Plan policy text, we suggest you download the pdf version of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, available via the link in the right hand menu.
2. You can make the local plan text larger or smaller using the 'text size' option on the 'view' menu.
3. The diagrams contained in the text of the printed local plan are available to download as pdfs from the right hand menu
on the online local plan text pages.
4. Cross references to page numbers will not be accurate in the online version, for these please download the pdf version which is available via the link in the right hand menu.
